We’ve been here before
In 2016, Donald Trump won the presidency, and Republicans had a 40-seat House majority and control of the Senate.
In 2017, directly after the “Unite the Right” neo-Nazi rally in Charlottesville, JDCA officially launched as the political home and voice of Jewish voters to elect Democrats who share our values.
In 2018, we played a key role in helping to flip the House from red to blue.
In 2020, we played a key role in electing Joe Biden.
In 2021, we played a key role in flipping the Senate from red to blue.
In 2022, we expanded our Senate majority.
2024 didn’t go our way when it comes to the White House and congressional majorities, but we did win 76% of the elections we engaged in, and we played a critical role in ensuring 71% of Jewish voters supported Kamala Harris and Democrats.
We’ve set a goal to raise $36,000 over the next three days to ensure that we can hit the ground running in 2025. And we are asking for your support today.
In just three days, it will be 2025, and JDCA will be hard at work protecting our values, defending democracy, supporting Israel, and combating antisemitism. We’ve already sent 6,000 letters to the Senate after Election Day, and we’re gearing up to continue and expand our work in the new year.
In the past, you contributed generously to JDCA. We cannot thank you enough for your generosity. Your donation helped us bring out the Jewish vote in 2024 and ensure we held strong for Democrats despite the rightward shift in this election. If you can renew your support before the end of the year, we can hit the ground running in 2025.
Thank you for your partnership throughout the year. Without you, our movement would not be what it is today. Together, we’ll make sure our values are protected in 2025 and beyond, and we appreciate your support.
Wishing you a happy and healthy new year,
Halie Soifer
